If you have been watching my breeding program the last few years, you may start to notice some sort of consistency when evaluating the genotypes and phenotypes of my herd. We are doing this by breeding does that are genetically and phenotypically the same to the same buck. This doe is a perfect example of just that. Last year, we saw that the 2M Barrel Proof X 4TON As Good As Gold cross “struck gold”! Whenever breeding season came around, I crossed As Good As Gold’s dam back over to Barrel Proof..... The outcome being this huge framed, growthy, big footed, long sided, and feminine female! I am not sure why I am selling this doe at this early in her maturity pattern because boy does she have some POTENTIAL! Talking about a doe with a TON of longevity, shape to her rib cage, and destined to do great things in the show ring!
