This doe is a large capacity, deep bodied brood doe.  We kept her brother as one of our herd sires, LGF3 Pathfinder.  On her dam’s side she comes from our most highly reproductive line of does we have raised or owned.  She’s got a pair of A4 teats per ABGA teat chart, a good bite and pigment.   She has been flushed once and kidded since that time, this past Spring.    She is offered confirmed bred to our buck, LGF3 The Revenuer.  We have included a recent photo of Revenuer in the catalog, he a direct son of The Virginian.  She has been an easy keeper and should reproduce herself many times over.  Her last kidding was triplets.  Her dam was flushed four times for a reason.  Her photos depict a working doe, as this was about a month after being dried off, she is not show fat, she is functional and healthy.   We included her yearling photo so you can compare two years time.

The 3 B’s describe this Purebred (98%) red & white dappled paint doe………..Beautiful, Boldly Dimensional & Broody.  If you trace her Dam’s genetic line backwards, you will find 7 of our previous herd sires.  Why is this noted?  It is a strong indicator of a bloodline built with the test of time.  Only the best producing, most maternal, hardy & therefore most profitable Does are retained to build a program around.  Catchphrase is a clear result of this focus.  Her sire is a large framed red & white spotted buck we acquired via LAP AI with Fern Hollow Farm Red Ruger *Ennobled semen. He stamped his gorgeous Roman head on Catchphrase.  She is both feminine & powerful. Her flashy coat pattern sets her apart from others.  Catchphrase has been successfully shown & remains show correct.   If you need to add length, loin width and mass to your herd, she is your gal. DNA is done. Her bite is correct, teats are 2 (with a blind spur) + 2 and dark colored pigment is 100%. We test our entire herd yearly for CAE & Johnes.  Catchphrase tested negative in August 2022.

Really love this young red doe. Her twin sister and half sister sold earlier in the sale. They all follow the same mold pretty cloesly. My biggest take away in this doe is the femininity she expresses. Talk about a beauty all the way around. She moves beautifully. A real "look at me" type package here. This is one I'm not sure should be leaving...

This doe is a different cross for us, and we like it.   She is a thick doe with plenty of style and always stands out as the eye catcher in our junior doe pen.  She has a beautiful front, long wide top and gorgeous head.  She is naturally very square as witnessed in her video.   Her dam has produced numerous stylish does for us the past several years, this one is no different.  Her bite is correct and pigment is solid.  She does have an A4 & D5 teat structure, so she is not show correct.

*EXPOSED DOE* to LK7 Black Label. This is the first doe we have ever offered exposed to our black and white dappled herdsire. She was placed with him 8/25 and will remain with him until the week of the sale. We hope to confirm her bred by sale day but in the event she is too early to confirm, we will send her with a straw of his semen. She kidded early this year with quads to Black Label, with 3 out of 4 kids being dappled. She was an excellent mother and we will hate to see this one go. She is an easy keeper, spending the summer in pasture and is the kind to help you pay your bills. Take her home and kid her out, she’ll pay for herself and more with those kids.
