Not all does make it to the show ring; in fact, some of our best producing does have never been on a show lead. It’s no surprise around here that one of us has trouble letting go of good does. Every year we hold on to a handful in our replacement pen for the following breeding season. Pear caught my eye early on and got to stay. She has developed into a tremendous yearling.
