Where do I even begin with this doe? I’ll just say this was not how I intended these flush kids to be sold, but when the pretty colored up paint sold to a junior member I had to offer the best one, my keeper doe, to be sold in this sale! Mari is insanely wide and deep, she has massive foot and bone underneath her, plenty of breed character, square all the way around, and has the most impressive chest floor on an animal we’ve ever produced. I loved this flush so much I kept a percentage BUCK out of this kid crop.
If you’ve seen my show string over the last year, you’ve met Stix, and while yes I do fit to go in the ring Stix still has the biggest set of feet and legs under him that I’ve ever seen. He consistently puts that on his kids and packs that rear 1/3 full of natural muscle. As for the dam of this doe, Marilyn, there’s too many things to say. Marilyn is 5 points away from her Doe of Excellence, has 120+ of her own points, is sound, square, long as a limousine, tall, and just overall balanced. When I was making decisions about my 2024 July flush, I was about to move so I knew I need to make productive, easy keeping kids. I knew this cross would be just that.
I have too many things to say about this one, if I could keep her I’d be selfish and do just that. I’ll just recommend you come see her on sale day and make the decision for yourself.
